I started studying to become a beauty therapist over 15 years ago in South Africa.

Soon after qualifying I set sail and worked aboard luxury cruise ships for 6 years. After moving ashore I worked as a spa therapist in the UK before moving to New Zealand. Shortly after moving to Wellington I became a spa manager in a central city clinic where I was a finalist in the Dermalogica Therapist of the Year.

Following two challenging but successful years running a spa I set out on my own starting my own business from home in Hataitai, Wellington where I built up an extensive client list that I was extremely proud of.

I became a registered member of the New Zealand Beauty Association soon after.

I moved to One Tree Point in 2012 as my husband’s work brought us north.  Two children later and I have recently trained in Microblading with market leaders, Phibrows.  Colette Baker Brows and Beauty is located in Marsden Cove, One Tree Point provides clients with professional services in a relaxed environment on the waterways.

I enjoy all aspects of beauty therapy and still feel exceptionally passionate about fast and effective waxing, facial treatments and eyebrow microblading.

I have a fabulous beauty room at my home where I work from. I do work on an appointment base only. My aim is to create a relaxing environment and make you feel comfortable.
